EDA owns and operates educational centres in Australia. Each centre has been established to meet a local need – such as university residences, study centres for high school and university students, youth clubs and conference centres.
The aim of each centre is to offer educational programs that encourage each individual to develop fully as a person. This involves a multi-faceted approach to education, looking at issues of competency, motivation and support.
Moving beyond technical proficiency, EDA centres encourage students and working people to orientate their work and social life to serving others. For this aim, the Christian model of service is regarded as a guiding principle.
